Bromford Technologies Alcester is recruiting for a Quality Systems and Audit Engineer to work at the Bromford Alcester Site; Unit 9, Kinwarton Farm Road, Arden Forest Ind. Estate, Alcester, Warwickshire B49 6EH.

JOB PURPOSE:

To manage the Business Quality Systems and Audit processes effectively within boundaries of Company Business Management System; ensuring Bromford Customer and regulatory requirements are met at all times, in addition to monitoring and analysing trends in Company KPIs and identifying opportunities for strategic improvements.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the integrity and future development of the Quality System.
• Participate in all NPI activities including FMEA.
• Compile and analyse Manufacturing and Quality system data, using traditional Quality methodology.
• Manage the internal and external audit requirements.
• Assist in changing the business culture towards a ‘process’ managed business.
• Report Quality metrics to all relevant parties.
• Host Customer and third party audits.
• Work and adhere to HSE guidelines on site.
• Perform other such duties as generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility.

• Maintain the Customer and regulatory approvals required in the IGT and Aerospace Industry.
• Strive for excellence in Quality.
• Ensure internal and external audit programme is delivered.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:

• Aerospace and/or IGT experience is required; Customer specific desirable – Rolls Royce, Siemens, Snecma.
• Must have manufacturing (machining) experience.
• Understanding of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
• Proven track record in a similar role covering responsibilities detailed above.

Although there is not a set criteria for specific qualifications stronger candidates would have both academic and technical training in relevant Engineering / Quality areas
