Band 7 CT Radiographer
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 7 Radiographer to join our CT Team in the Imaging Department at Charing Cross Hospital. The CT department consists of 2 Siemens Definition AS 128 CT Scanners.
The post-holder should be a skilled CT radiographer with a good understanding of CT and its techniques. This role will give the individual the opportunity to build on and extend their clinical expertise in CT and also develop management, training and leadership skills. Education and training are key elements of the department and therefore role extension and further learning is encouraged. Flexibility and innovation are fundamental to this role and strong communication skills are essential. Participation in the rostered shift system inclusive of evening and weekend duties as part of 7 day working is essential.
The Imaging department at Charing Cross Hospital offers a comprehensive range of CT examinations with both clinical and research work being undertaken. As part of the first Academic Health Science Centre in the country our aim is to provide world-class healthcare to our patients through excellence in research, education and training. The sites within the Trust are recognised as specialist centres for Renal Transplant, Cardiology, Major Trauma, Hyper-acute Stroke, Paediatrics, and Respiratory Medicine.
