Advanced Nurse Practitioner - St Neots, Cambridgeshire

At IMH, providing patient care is at the heart of what we do, and we don’t want to stop there. We currently have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner role available at our St Neots Health Centre in St Neots, Cambridge. The details are:

  • Annual salary of up to £50,000
  • NHS Pension
  • Part-time and full-time hours available, 40 hours per week (days/hours flexible)
  • 6 weeks' equivalent annual leave + bank holidays + 1 x weekly hours' annual CPD leave
  • Role available immediately

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with IMH Group you will have the following mandatory skills:-

  • Undifferentiated Diagnosis
  • Prescriptions (independent Prescriber)
  • Paediatrics
  • Patient Related Admin
  • Referrals

  • lab Results Interpretation
  • Sexual Health
  • Obs/Gynae
  • Learning Disabilities/Mental Health
  • Appraisals/Triage/Home Visits

Practice Profile

  • Clinical skill mix consists of: a Clinical Lead, Salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and HCAs.
  • 6200 patient list
  • Opening hours Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm, Saturday + Sunday 9am - 4pm.
  • APMS Contract

As one of our Advanced Nurse Practitioners you’ll have recent experience within a Primary Care setting, be adaptable, highly motivated and relish a challenge. You will be registered with the NMC, be an independent/supplementary nurse prescriber and hold an MSc/Post graduate diploma or equivalent. You will hold advanced assessment skills which include history taking, clinical examinations, diagnosis and initiating programmes of care.
