Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

My client is an established specialist company based in the Market Harborough area who have been successfully trading for over 15 years. They have a large number of long standing customers and due to continued growth they have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working within a small team, the main purpose of this role is to take responsibility for all aspects of the day to day financial management of the company.

This is a varied and busy role; duties will include but will not be limited to:

* Processing of sales and purchase invoices
* Posting of cash receipts and payments
* Credit control
* Bank reconciliations
* Maintenance of fixed asset register
* Posting journals and preparation of monthly management accounts

With proven ability to complete tasks using your own initiative, you will be able to meet deadlines with excellent numeracy skills and a high level of accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have previous accounts experience within an office based role gained within a small to medium environment. You will have a friendly, positive approach with good communication skills.

It would be an advantage if you hold a relevant qualification such as AAT.
