3rd Line Support Team Lead
Are you an experienced 3rd Line Engineer with a strong background in supporting and managing Windows and Linux environments? Are you looking for a leading role where you will be responsible for the 3rd line support team in charge of overall IT support of the company's infrastructure. Do you want to work for an industry leader, where you can utilise your strong leadership and technical skills in a level 3 support team working with Windows, Linux and Networking technologies. My client is a leader within the digital payments industry who are currently looking to bring in an experienced 3rd line Support Manager to lead a team of Network and Systems Engineers supporting the whole of the UK. You will lead from the front, providing escalation level support for internal systems and networks whilst managing the wider team to provide direction on major issue investigations and guide strategy towards successful resolution. You will also bring innovative problem solving and cost saving ideas to the table, where you can identify and improve on any current processes and systems in place. The ideal candidate will have: Extensive 3rd line support experience with sound knowledge of both Windows and Linux systems. Strong understanding of ITIL service management principles. Prior experience leading and managing a team of engineers, conducting performance reviews and annual appraisals.
