Senior Consultant - Cyber Risk
***New role in new team build*** This is a unique opportunity to join a new and growing Big 4 Cyber Risk Consulting team. FULL SPEC ON REQUEST. Working alongside some high profile individuals in the industry your skills and experience will be tested and developed through a combination of support, formal training, on the job coaching and mentoring and exposure to a broad range of complex and often high risk client cyber challenges across a range of financial services clients. You'll gradually get to input to the proposal process, gaining an understanding of how the team wins new business and your technical, stakeholder management and leadership qualities will build over time enabling you to succeed in your role and advance in seniority within the firm. Joining as one of the founder members and helping the team grow will be fantastic to experience. Responsibilities include: • Delivering cyber-related engagements with clients, including effective people management and working seamlessly and collaboratively with colleagues and clients; • Building and developing long term relationships with across the firm and their clients; and • Contributing to the creation of new Cyber related services and the development of existing services. Typical engagements include: Security strategy assessment, designing and implementing security strategy, governance frameworks over processes, controls, organisation and infrastructure to management cyber security Security transformation programmes Security assessments and benchmarking Data privacy advisory/ cyber risk input to GDPR programmes Resilience and Business Continuity Cyber training, education and awareness to board level Security around emerging technology Skills and experience we're looking for includes: • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, including specifically a good understanding of business processes and/or supporting technology; • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of developing strong relationships, either as a consultant or within an organisation. • Ability to solve complex problems objectively individually and as part of a team; • Broad cyber risk background including the delivery of high quality, complex projects including effective programme, project, financial and people management; and • Strong academics, including a degree or equivalent experience and relevant qualifications, for example A.Inst.ISP, CISSP, CISA etc Adam Appointments is the only Scottish agency specialising exclusively in Corporate Governance recruitment.
