Good Afternoon,

We are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk operative for an engineering client based in Halewood.

Helpesk operative will be responsible for the timely operation of the Help Desk on Night Shift during production days Monday to Friday inclusive, expediting both internal and external requests for work to Company's employees or Client's maintenance department in a prompt and efficient manner.

Hours of work will be Mon-Fri 06:30-14:30 shifts(initially) paying £9.92 p/h. This role is temporary for 3 months, possibly turning permanent
Rotating late / night shift, hours - 14:30 - 22:30, 22.30 - 06.30 Monday to Friday, a total of 37.5 hours per week.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Dealing with internal and external calls or taking messages
· Ensuring messages are passed on in a timely manner
· Loging all help desk queries/complaints onto the computer database
· Allocating jobs to Client's dept or Company's operatives via two way radio, or to approved sub contractor by other approved means
· Reporting back to client
· Generating help desk reports
· Assisting with general office administrative duties
· Greeting visitors and ensure they sign the visitor's book
· Any other such duties that may be required of the job holder from time to time by local management

Skills required:
Excellent telephone manner
Computer literacy with particular reference to Microsoft Office
Capable of working alone and on occasions as a team member
Able to meet time constraints and specific deadlines
