Transaction (Pensions) Project Manager, up to £82500 + Strong Bonus + 15% Pension + 38 Days Holiday. Strong Blue Chip Company in London including Agile Working !!!

Summary:

The Transaction Project Manager will take responsibility for the project management and successful delivery of transactions within a specialist team. The role holder will utilise their extensive project management skills to engage with a wide range of teams across Pension Risk Transfer business, clients, EBCs and scheme administrators and ensure appropriate plans and governance are in place for successful delivery of new transactions.Some of the key responsibiltiies include:

Managing a portfolio of Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) transactions

Ensuring all transaction adhere to PRT governance and processes

Where required manage 3rd party relationships with external advisors

Overseeing all aspects post signing activities and implementation

Liaising with other areas of the busiess to ensure any potential impact of transactions are understood and recognised in the proposition

Working closely with the Transition Management team provide oversight on all post transaction activities ensuring milestones are met and reported against

Supporting the development of PRT Transaction Management capability across all future active territories and UK business structures.

Keeping relevant PRT transaction MI up-to-date and provide to management team as appropriate and in a timely manner

Ideal Skills Required:

A broad knowledge of pension industry, especially DB schemes. In-depth understanding of the pension risk transfer market and the products (longevity, buy in, buy out) will be ideal.

Demonstrable project and programme management experience supported by appropriate qualifications such as Prince II;

Any pension qualification such as PMI will be an advantage

Good problem solving, analytical and numerical skills;

Track record of building effective relationships in complex environments;

Proven track record in adapting to trends and openness to new ideas;

Strong organisational and change management skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and work independently, managing a high-volume of tasks and deadlines;

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses and key support functions;

Strong experience in leading and/ or participating in beauty parades and presenting to Trustees and Advisers;

Strong stakeholder, client and third party relationship management;

Expert user of the MS Office suite
