Our client a digital marketing company based in Maidstone is looking to recruit a Marketing/Social Media Manager to join their team. The successful applicant will be the Social Media lead, brand ambassador and authorised voice of the organisation over their wide range of Globally Active Social Channels. They will be responsible for taking their social channels to their next level of community involvement by driving optimum engagement with their active and vocal social community. This is a key role in developing the business’s external relations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities include:

* Drive the strategy and creativity delivery of the company’s growing Global social communications presence, through social media/PR/content creation and events.

* Lead and coordinate the expanding marketing team

* Generate creative campaign Ideas for the team to deliver

* Build, listen, interact, moderate and monitor multiple communities - Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, blogs, forums & other social networks.

* Drive community loyalty with an increased level of engagement ideas

* Respond or escalate customer issues, requests for information and comments to required parties and replying in a prompt and positive manner

* Key point of contact between the Company and the main community players

* Maintain rapport with various communities including attending relevant events and planning community meet-ups

* Monitoring, gathering and reporting on key metrics including customer care and brand mentions


* Exemplary knowledge of common social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube)

* Excellent Leadership and Presentation Skills

* Creative & Strategic excellence

* Can-do attitude, ability to multi-task, Excellent Organisational skills, Hunger to learn and progress

* Excellent Writing & Graphic Skills

* Ability to work to ever-changing deadlines and under pressure, Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales

* At least 4 years experience within a similar role.

* Relevant degree or further education within marketing, media studies, business studies, communications, PR, or advertising however candidates with strong commercial experience would be considered.

* Passionate about the role and in making a real impact on the company’s communities/social channels

* Superior social media & digital marketing knowledge and experience of online tools

* Extensive knowledge and experience of online etiquette in multiple social media platforms

* High level of common sense and aptitude to read various situations and make key decisions that will positively impact the company and brand

* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to write concise and impactful content and present to a variety of audiences

* Entrepreneurial spirit and consummate team player

Desirable skills:

* Marketing qualification / degree

* Experience of Brand24 and or Sprout

* Social Media Qualification

* Team Management Training

* Photoshop Mastery
