We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Heating / Mechanical Project Engineer, based in Bristol and serving Wales and the South West. This role will be working within a diverse customer and property portfolio within the Arthur McKay Bristol projects team. The candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, of heating / mechanical services including boilers, calorifiers, gas fired water heaters, gas pipework, LTHW pipework, DHW and CWS services.

The candidate will additionally be required to undertake the installation, service and maintenance of other assets where workload dictates or deemed competent to do so.

Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Undertake refurbishment & installation works of all aspect of heating and mechanical services
- To undertake reactive and planned service works within set time frames ensuring client expectations are met.
- Provide detailed reports upon completion of works including breakdown processes, hours and materials of works to allow for accurate valuation of works.
- To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
- To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
- Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Servest Arthur McKay H&S policy.
- Ensuring risk assessments, method statements and tool box talks are completed as required.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

- Qualified and registered with Gas Safe for relevant ACS commercial and domestic qualifications
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 gas/plumbing/mechanical services
- CSCS Skillcard
- PASMA Qualification
- Previous experience working within Projects / Minor Works environment
- Full clean driving licence

- Effective communication skills

This role will require Disclosure Scotland Clearance. Baseline or other similar security clearance may also be required.

Hours and Environment

This is a Bristol based role covering Wales and the South West, however you may be required to travel further afield. Working hours between Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm and additional working where required in line with access and downtime for contract related works.
