Position: Application Support Consultant (MS Dynamics)

Salary: Up to £40,000 pa + holiday, healthy benefits & bonus

Kinect’s international IT consultancy has a current required for an experienced Support Consultant to join the team. You be tasked with supporting a key client (NHS) with the integration and ongoing support of NHS systems.

You will be involved with providing support for the business-wide CRM system. The applicant needs to understand MS Dynamics end to end and know the pitfalls to be able to support and manage this application successfully.

The Application Support Engineer will also provide support for the company’s cloud infrastructure and supporting the applications therein.

Key responsibilities

* Provide support for NHS core applications, web and mobile sites, and other custom and standard software packages

* Maintain and support operating systems/ server infrastructure hosting core applications

* Monitor application performance and availability

* Follow defined procedures to manage the release of application updates from development into production, including testing and change control

* Liaise with third party support teams regarding assigned issues, and escalate where necessary

* To work on enhancement requests and changes required as assigned.

* To report progress and issues to project teams / management in a timely manner - in particular to relay issues that might impact on quality of the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates.

* Evaluate new tools and techniques (within corporate applications)

* Administration and enhancement of the environment and its supportability, for example: administration of user environment, control of network access integrity, management of data

* Test all deliverables produced and document results

* Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned from time to time

Essential skills

* 3+ years working within a support environment

* Familiarity with use of IT Service Management tools for incident management (ServiceNow/ TOPdesk etc.)

* Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365

* Microsoft SharePoint and SQL Server

* VisualStudio

* Microsoft Office knowledge and experience (2010 onwards)

* Understanding of Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/ 2016)

Desirable skills

* Robotic Process Automation knowledge, including tools such as Kapow, UIPath, BluePrism

* Azure IaaS experience

* PowerShell scripting experience

* Experience in web/ application development

* Understanding of Windows PC operating systems (7, 8.1, 10)
