About this job:

Manage inventory holding across all NOEUR sites to enable efficient job delivery and equipment maintenance & repair, whilst minimizing inventory holding and obsolescence.

Set up and manage an “in-boot” or “drop box” inventory logistics operation to minimize travel to the companies sites to collect parts and dispose of waste materials.

Key Responsibilities of the Inventory Manager

Manages MRP functionality in NOEUR, monitoring & validating ERP related data to ensure effective MRP activity. •

Leads MRP & Data set up in the ERP, configure/activate supply chain modules in M3 for on-going replenishment from source location (central and local warehouses or Supplier) •

Leads inventory optimization initiatives across NOEUR business through

the periodic review and analysis of ERP information, •

Provides key analysis data for slow moving/non-moving, excessive stock items and suggests/recommends optimization steps to key decision makers in Operations and Finance.

Arranges for disposal of surplus inventory materials. • For central warehouses, determine MRP settings within a multi-distribution environment in order to achieve maximum parts availability while maintaining targeted inventory levels as per agreed KPI’s • Identify potential materials inventory liabilities, suggesting preventative measures to manage business impact • Undertakes resolution of complex supply chain related ERP / systems challenges and issues for the supply chain department, using a holistic view or approach of the different supply chain groups. • Designs and implement improved controls procedures and processes based on data analysis. •

Set up and review of periodic and cycle counts in NOEUR depots and Van/Site Stocks for both Parts / Consumables and Cable, Ducting & Hose (CDH). • Tracking and reporting of key product categories and supply chain metrics • Leads the design and development of inventory KPI’s for NOEUR • Develop in-house training / awareness around inventory management for the Service Management teams •

Analyses and improves the $/kVA and inventory turns performance across NOEUR •

Interface with suppliers to optimise end-to end supply chain inventory holding e.g. Cummins •

Set up and manage “in-boot” and/or “drop box” type inventory distribution logistics operation from Central Stores to both depots and field-based technicians with a view to minimizing depot / van stocks as well as reducing wasted time traveling to and from depots for parts replenishment purposes.

You will have the following experience:

Person Specification/Job Requirements

• Highly analytical and competent in excel • Deep expertise in operating ERP/MRP system, preferably M3 • Experience of setting up and managing an “in-boot” or “drop box” logistics operation. • Ability to understand, interrogate and validate data from multiple platforms
