My client, a well established company based on the outskirts of Preston, are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to support their busy finance department. This role is a temporary role with the potential to go permanent based on performance.

This is a fast paced role and would suit Purchase Ledger Clerk who is confident working to strict deadlines.

The role will include but not be limited to;

* Code and check invoices
* Calculate VAT payments
* Pay out money via BACS
* Check and reconcile supplier statements
* File invoices and statements
* Deal with purchase enquiries
* Process staff expenses

The role is based within a busy finance department. My client is looking for a team player who is able to assist with other finance duties as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have a background in a similar role, have excellent computer skills and have the ability to pick things up quickly.

Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 or 09:00 - 17:30 Monday – Friday

Salary of 17,000 - 18,000 PA
