A ‘Good’ school in Carlisle are currently seeking a Health and Social Care Teacher who is able to teach Health and Social Care to KS5.

* NQT and experienced teachers

* £90 - £165 dependent on experience

The role

Health and Social Care Teacher needed in Carlisle. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated Health and Social care teacher to deliver an engaging and challenging curriculum that inspires students to appreciate and engage with what they are learning. It is essential that the suitable candidate can teach Health and Social Care to KS5 and has a degree/qualification within this area.

The School

Health and Social Care teaching position available in Carlisle. The suitable candidate will join a school which aims to educate students who are engaged in all aspects of their learning, mind and heart, body and soul, and prepare them to become positive role models, agents of change and leaders who will transform the world we live in for the betterment of all.

The curriculum is broad and deliberately wide ranging to ensure each child has the potential to develop their talents and is challenged intellectually in an environment where they can develop academically, emotionally, socially, culturally and spiritually.

Requirements

* QTS/ QTLS
* An outstanding Teacher with a proven track record of achievement
* Have experience of teaching Health and Social Care to KS5
* Have excellent subject knowledge
* Have a passion for Health and Social Care
* A can do/proactive attitude
* A teacher with recent and sustained success within your current post
* Creative in problem solving together with willingness to take on and try new approaches and ideas
* Have the ability to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and to recognise potential child safeguarding issues
* Willing to participate in extra-curricular activities and whole school activities
