A brilliant opportunity for an ambitious Key Stage 1 Teacher to take on a Year 2 class

This lovely school in Peckham are currently recruiting for a new year 2 Teacher for a maternity cover to begin after the upcoming holiday. The school is high performing, currently ranked in the top 10% of the country for progress and are aiming to becoming even better. The school is currently in the process of completing a purposeful move from three forms to two forms to create greater play space and learning opportunities for their students.

The School is a short walk from the very well connected Peckham Rye station with links to the Overground, Southern, Southeastern and Thameslink lines. The school has vibrant links with the outside community which provide unique opportunities for their students, taking advantage their location on the borders of Camberwell and Peckham with close proximity to some of the capital’s most exciting educational attractions.

* UK QTS
* A good understanding of SEN and EAL Support

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
