To drive and grow the sales of durable label business in UK/Ireland and exploit any other opportunities that arise in Europe.

This will be achieved by meticulously following the business development process from market research, initial meeting, through sampling and quotation, value proposition, proposal writing and presentation, right through to on-boarding of new customers. You will need to liaise effectively with estimating, graphic design, customer service and production.

Ultimately, the role holder’s primary objective is to deliver sales growth within the durable label business, the secondary objective is to identify other label business opportunities that arise whilst pursuing this.

Prospective Customers

* Take all necessary steps to ensure that prospective customer expectations are exceeded and the level of service is consistently exceptional

* Ensure that prospective customer requirements are really understood, so that a detailed targeted Value Proposition can be presented

* Actively work towards creating and maintaining a positive relationship between the client and all areas of the business (e.g. estimating, pre-press, customer service etc.)

* Promote and develop cross-functional relationships and communications at all levels to ensure that the on-boarding of new clients is professional and successful

* Work closely with the CSR/Sales team in all prospective customer focused activities and initiatives.

* Identify and grow opportunities within existing account in collaboration with sales team

* Manage all high level prospective customer challenges and issues

* Ensure all areas are appropriately resourced at the right times, in line with budget requirements, to meet the needs of new business requirements.


* Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and performance improvement across new business development activities

* Maintain a suite of appropriate management information, allowing for robust reporting on performance and activity levels within the operation.

* Ensure that all administration within the operation is managed in accordance with Company, client guidelines and legislative requirements
