Nominated Authorised Person – Electrical Bias

Salary ranging from 45,000 – 50,000 + vehicle

Static Site Based In Swindon

Here at the Invictus Group we are currently seeking to speak to HVAP authorised Persons who are either currently working within a Senior position or are looking to further their career within a large FM provider. Working on a state of the art building you will be undertaking the care and upkeep of the site and keep morale and work standards high within the team.

You will be required to work a standard working week of Monday – Friday 8 till 5 with some flexibility to suit the client’s needs. You will be static on one site but may be required to visit other sites now and then so a vehicle is provided with the role.

Works can include anything from the below;

* Carry out regular site audits to ensure that at every site where, that they are fully compliant with the Safety Rules, or the Client’s Rules where they apply. Issue a formal report of any deficiencies, or omissions, to the Controlling / Contract Manager for action, copied to the Business Unit Health & Safety coordinator and Authorising Engineer.

* Provide technical assistance and guidance on matters relating to electrical systems and application of the GWR Safe Systems of Work to Electrical Systems.

* Be responsible for the operation, isolation, discharging and proving dead of Account/Site systems and equipment. Prepare, issue, and cancel the appropriate safety documentation on Account/Site equipment within the limits specified on the Senior Authorised Persons Certificate of Appointment in accordance with the Safe Systems of Work.

* Ensure that all work is carried out on time, to the correct standard and in accordance with pre-planned or reactive work instructions or project work.

* Maintenance of electrical systems, calibration of instrumentation, containment devices and building management control systems.

* High degree of personal and professional integrity and credibility that sustains the ongoing confidence with contact company management and internal teams

Key Requirements & qualifications for the role;

* 5 years’ experience in building services – electrical – Essential

* City & Guilds parts 1,2,3 – Essential

* City & Guilds 2391 inspection / Testing – Desirable

* AP LV Training – Desirable

* AP 15 HV Training (external) – In Date / Expired

* 17th Edition IEE Regs

* Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to establish positive relationships with staff at all levels, generating confidence, respect and trust.

* Full UK Driving Licence
