An educational software supplier to schools is seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive to join its team based in Fareham.

The company has a dynamic start-up feel to it although it has seen exceptional growth in the last 4 years. Over the last few years, the company have developed our learning platform and pioneered the creation of top-quality digital educational resources within a range of subjects including maths, science, economics and business. The company is now looking to take these products to market and is looking for a strong lead generator and marketeer to do that using multichannel techniques.

As a Sales and Marketing Executive your duties will include:

- Researching contact information for new school accounts.

- Executing personalised prospecting cycles with multi-channel contact including:

- Postal
- Email
- Outbound Phone Calling
- Social Media Messaging

- Developing product and market understanding to be able to combat objections.
- Determining the appropriate point at which to pass on an account to one of our account consultants.
- Working with our CRM system to record all actions.

To be a successful Sales and Marketing Executive you will have the following skills and experience:

- You must be outgoing enough that cold-calling will not make you uncomfortable.
- Have a great attitude and enthuse the colleagues they work with.
- You must be bright – it is a reasonably complicated product and market.
- Understanding of the educational environment & market.
- Previous experience within a similar role and have the ability to generate new leads.
- You must be literate – so that written communication is accurate.

There are full time and part time positions are available which are flexible to fit around school hours.

In return, the Sales and Marketing Executive will receive a salary of £20,000 - £21,000 per annum and a £27,000 OTE. The Sales and Marketing Executive will also receive excellent benefits such as free parking, holiday pay, excellent commissions and opportunities to progress. For the right candidate, the company would implement an annual salary uplift linked to bonus earned. The company also has a range of incentives, including share options via an EMI scheme.
