Location: Based in Beeston

Reports to: Senior Product Planning Manager


Contribute to the delivery of high quality, on time and on budget products as per the customer requirements, by managing the flow of departmental activities following a Customer Order up to the products to the next stages of the supply chain and by driving projects to improve departmental process efficiency.


Contribute to the business profitability, by owning the validation of the new product quotations, supporting economic purchasing that reduces the customer SOV, while minimises the material inventory.
Ensure high customer satisfaction, by managing all the activities within the department, from a Customer order receipt on a new product to the accurate release of the Customer BOM within the MRP System inclusive the following key activities:

Department representation during internal order receipt meeting and inform all the relevant departments about the readiness to deliver the new product from a material point of view, highlight risks and caveats discussed at the product quotation stage.
Project manage within the department all the activities upon the Customer new order to ensure timely release of the product within the Product Data Management database and MRP System.

Facilitate the objectives to be agile and lean, by project managing any customer or business driven request for change on the products within the department and until the accurate release of the change within the MRP System.

Key Tasks:

• Maintain change records within the departmental WIP tracker.
• Ensure understanding of the change detail and impact as per the department analysis and identify if the latter requires an internal order receipt meeting to communicate the impact to the relevant departments
• Project manage within the department all the activities upon the receipt of the product change request to ensure timely release of the Engineering Change Note (ECN) within the Product Data Management database and MRP System.
• Coordinate with all the relevant departments to ensure all the necessary updates are in place within the MRP System as a result of the released ECN.
• Support continuous improvement of business efficiency, by project managing
• Continuous Improvement initiatives within the department, such as owning the identification and implementation plan of product costing and pricing software
• Promote a “Help” culture within the business, providing departmental expertise to internal business functions as required

Key Tasks:

• Support your departmental activities to minimize lead times for quotations and change implementations activities, while achieving competitive material sourcing
• Proactively inform any relevant departments and support on queries related to new products or product change requests as required

Check that you wear all PPE equipment/clothing provided within indicated manufacturing and storage areas



• Ideally educated to a degree level in relevant subject (Business,
• Project/Change Management)
• Knowledge of electronics components can be advantageous
• Software Skills
• Competent in using Microsoft Office
• Experience of using MRP systems
• Experience of using Product Data Management systems (e.g. Agile) can be advantageous
• Previous experience of using or having implemented a product costing and pricing software can be advantageous
