The Role:
As the Business Development Director, your role will involve leading a team of Business Development Managers, as well as developing new business. You will proactively prospect new clients, both via self-generated and warm leads. This innovative Customer Engagement solution is bespoke to each client’s requirements, therefore you will utilize a consultative approach, pitching the unrivaled benefits across many stakeholders.

You will be targeting a variety of verticals that will include the Banking, Financial Services, Retail, Telco, and Utilities markets. Liaising with several C-level decision makers you will represent yourself and the company in a well presented and polished manner. This is a complex sell, which will involve signing deals up to £1m in size, and sales cycles of up to a year.

The Candidate:
To excel in this Business Development Director role, you must have a proven track record of growing and leading a sales team, within any form of complex software solution sale. You will have exposure to the corporate market and proven success dealing with large deal sizes in large blue chip clients (desirable to have experience working with Tier 1 IT, Banks, and Utilities companies. Being proactive in the market to source new deals, you will have a results-driven mentality with a view to maximize revenue and growth from all channels. This role very much requires lateral thinking, and a drive and passion that is second to none!

The Package:
Although the salary package will be negotiable dependent on previous experience, initial indication is a base salary of between £100,000 and £120,000. On top of this is a rewarding commission structure, that brings your first year on target earnings up to £240,000, and an annual car allowance.
