SEN Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a successful support team and to work in a well-known SEN school in Salford, Manchester. This will be a full time, Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant role commencing in September 2018 they have 2 positions available. The successful applicant could be taken on permanent.

This is an inclusive and well known SEN school across the primary and secondary key stages who are looking for a committed and successful practitioner to join their motivated and inclusive team. The school has state of the art facilities and a supportive, driven and successful teaching and management team. The wider community is highly supportive of the school.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have excellent knowledge of working with children in Primary or Secondary, and ideally will have worked with children with SEND previously. The desired teaching assistant will be working closely with the SENCO and school to deliver the best possible care for the children under their care.

To be considered for the position of SEND Teaching Assistant you must:

Have experience supporting children in primary or secondary education
Hold at least Level 1 qualification in childcare

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEN School Staff

Have a passion for teaching and supporting with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
