My client is a well regarded manufacturing business with operations across Europe and head office based in North West Leicestershire.

Due to expansion they now have a vacancy for an experienced Payroll Controller to join the business in a stand-alone capacity, taking ownership of all things PAYE.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Updating and maintaining; new starters, leavers and contract changes
• Maintain employee hours worked record, ensuring appropriate authorisation is documented
• Maintain company sick pay and statutory payment records
• Processing payments by BACS and deductions to relevant authorities
• Real Time Information submissions
• Ability to create and maintain weekly payroll including, tax year ends, P60, P45, P46, deliver compliance and liaising with HMRC
• Liaising with staff, personnel and management on pay related queries
• Salary Sacrifice Scheme administration
• Administer agency staff timesheets
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Analysis reporting

Applicants must have an in-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, with experience gained on both weekly and monthly payrolls for upwards of 400 staff.

Experience of T&A Systems, Complex shift patterns and bonus payments would be a major advantage.
