Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a highly motivated Food Technology Teacher for a long – term, part –time position, commencing January 2019. You will be teaching Food Technology up to Key Stage 4.

This excellent, friendly, high achieving school in Maidstone, Kent is looking for a teacher of Food Technology to join their successful Design Technology department. This role is a long term part-time position. The successful teacher must be able to teach Food Technology up to and including key stage 4. The ability to offer another subject in Technology would be an advantage but is not essential.

Our client school is a ‘Good’ mixed Secondary school in Maidstone, Kent with an excellent record for behaviour and safety of pupils. The pupils are known for showing respect, tolerance and courtesy towards each other, as well as staff and visitors. The school has a vibrant, inclusive and diverse community where everyone is encouraged and expected to fulfil their potential. The successful candidate must be a trained teacher and have experience of teaching and delivering outstanding lessons. We would consider applications from both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers.

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualifications to work in the UK (QTS, PGCE or NARIC approved)
Be able to teach Food Technology up to KS4.
Broad subject knowledge of the DT syllabus
Experience working in the UK school curriculum
Be dynamic and professional in their approach to teaching.

Be able to work in a team and collaboratively with others.
Have a record of excellence
