About the School and the Physics Teacher post:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an Physics Teacher to cover a full time contract in a independent school in the Chelmsford area. If you are a qualified Physics Teacher or an experienced Physics Instructor looking for work in Mid Essex and would like to make a positive difference to children’s education then we would love to hear from you.

• We are looking for an Physics Teacher to work in a independent school in the Chelmsford area, Essex
• The Physics Teacher will ideally be qualified with QTS, QTLS or have a degree and recent relevant UK classroom experience
• You will be working with students across KS3 and KS4 and will have recent experience teaching GCSE Physics.
• This is initially for a full time cover contract from January 2019 to July 2019, but could lead to something longer term depending on the needs of the school at the end of the cover.

• Location – Chelmsford, Essex
• Position – Physics Teacher
• Type of work – Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4

• Minimum rate of pay - £120 per day

Experience, Training and Qualifications required for the Physics Teacher position:

• Ideally you should hold QTS or QTLS, although unqualified teachers with relevant teaching experience may also be considered.
• Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
• The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.

To be eligible for the Physics Teacher post through Prospero Teaching you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
