Currently we are recruiting for one of our well established clients in Wembley are a one of the leading Autistic Charities in the UK. We are looking for someone who can match their vision of offering high quality care and support in an environment that promotes positive well-being and maximises the potential to live as independently as possible.

Our ideal candidate will be a flexible and passionate Support Worker. He will be a strong team player, with good judgement and a strong passion for helping people. The person will have more than a year experience in a residential setting with autistic adults.

Your main duties will be:

To actively encourage service users to participate in independent living activities in line with their service user plan
To provide assistance with personal care where appropriate
To participate in service user risk assessments both at home and in the community
To help organise and plan reviews and attend meetings
To maintain service users records in line with organisational policies
To accompany service users in community activities
To support service users in following housing management policies and procedures
To support service users with their day to day financial matters
To work with the behavioural team to support users in managing challenging behaviour
To attend and contribute to staff meetings, workshops, training courses, conferences and seminars as and when appropriate
To attend regular supervision meetings with the line manager
