The role is available for a qualified and experienced physics teacher to start in January 2019. The school is looking for bright and enthusiastic physics teachers who are confident with good communication skills and the ability to plan and deliver lessons to the best standard.
You will be a qualified physics teacher looking to teach a KS3-5 class. An exciting opportunity for you to play a vital role in teaching and helping students improve and achieve academically.
The job role includes:Plan work in accordance with departmental schemes of work and national curriculum programmes of studyMaintain good discipline by following the school's pupil disciplinary policies and procedures.Set appropriate and challenging work for all pupils from KS3-5Keep appropriate records of pupils' workComplete pupil reports in line with school policy. Attend parents' evenings as required and keep parents informed about their child's performance and future targets
RequirementsResilient, driven and self motivatedHold a Qualification (UK QTS or PGCE)UK classroom experienceAbility to plan engaging lessons using numerous learning methodsAvailable to start full time from January 2019Able to travel to and around WorcestershireValid DBS or willingness to obtain one
DesirableAt least 1 year experience in a UK secondary schoolBe qualified up to degree levelProven and relevant experience of teaching KS3-5NQT physics teacher, or QTS Science Teacher
