Philanthropy Manager (BAME Communities)
Would you like to be part of an ambitious, energetic and forward-thinking fundraising team - a team that puts supporters and our audiences at the heart of what we do?
Barnardo's works with vulnerable children across the UK, regardless of their ethnicity, background or abilities. We work with each child to provide tailored solutions to meet their individual needs, ensuring everything we do is relevant to them. And we want to work with our supporters in the same way.
We believe fundraising activities have for too long been focussed on one demographic of supporter, yet there are so many people who want to make a difference by supporting vulnerable children and we want to offer them a way to support that is relevant to them.
If you have experience in building and managing relationships with donors from BAME communities then we would love to hear from you.
You will be an outstanding relationship builder who will bring your experience working with high profile philanthropists, supporters and volunteers to develop and manage our brand new BAME Communities philanthropy programme. We are looking for someone to grow and deepen our relationships with BAME supporters and develop a portfolio of relevant, holistic, inspiring and engaging fundraising events and initiatives. With lots of support from senior management, this is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious fundraiser to make their mark and make a real difference to improving life-chances for children and young people.
