Job Details:

Job overview / purpose:

We are looking for a technically minded Apprentice to join one of Bristol's leading IT support providers.

Main role: [will include but not be limited to]:

Provide first line helpdesk support to clients via telephone, email, and remote access Assist with the purchase, setting up, maintenance and repair of hardware for clients Assist with data backup and data recovery Install and configure software applications Keep accurate records of work completed and ongoing jobs Undertake or assist with any other admin duties as required

Desired qualities:

You’ll need to be a relatively fast learner and pick up new skills quickly Be polite and personable; our reputation is built on our people-skills as much as our technical ability Possess a genuine interest in computers and a keen desire to develop your skills Good organisation and time-keeping skills are essential

Desired qualification requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's (A*-C) including English & Maths Experience with computer hardware would be advantageous

Working week:

5 days per week,

Monday - Friday,

9am – 5:30pm,

37.5 hours a week, [all details will be confirmed with the employer]

Salary:

£138.75 per week

Important Information:

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
