The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is looking for a skilled and experience manager to join our Membership Engagement team as maternity cover for our Membership Engagement Manager. The successful candidate will have exemplary organisation skills with the ability to work collaboratively to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of colleagues.
The Membership Engagement Manager leads one of the three teams that makes up the Executive Office and reports to the Chief Executive. The other teams are External Engagement and HR.
The RCR aims to be the membership organisation of choice for clinical oncologists and clinical radiologists in the UK and abroad by providing high-quality, high value member services. The Membership Engagement Team is responsible for planning and co-ordinating membership value and engagement. The main responsibilities include: membership communications and engagement activities, all aspects of membership administration, and analysis of membership needs and the targeting of services to meet those needs. Among the member engagement activities delivered by the team are new Fellows admission ceremonies and regional meetings. There is currently a strong focus on meeting the needs of overseas members.
These activities are contained in a member engagement plan which will improve College support for members throughout their careers. The Manager will lead the Membership Engagement Team to deliver the plan, as well as planning for the 2020 membership engagement survey. Success can be demonstrated through delivering membership growth, engagement and retention ensuring that revenue targets are met.
Central to the work over the next 12 months and more will be a planned transition to a new customer relationship management system the aim of which is to transform communication with members and the services on offer. The Membership Engagement Manager will be expected to lead on the business process changes related to the membership function and ensure the transition between the current and the new technologies is carried out efficiently, securely and completely.
