Salary: Scale 2, points 10 to 13 (£16,863 to £17,391) plus London weighting (£1,888) pro rata (thus actual salary approx. £3,267) Hours: 7.5 hours – Term time (38 weeks) (11.15am-12.45pm)

The Post:

We are looking for a highly motivated and efficient candidate who will share and promote our vision by joining our Early Years Team. You will provide support to the Early Years team at lunchtime by supervising nursery children to enjoy the “lunchtime “experience. You will set out lunch, encouraging the children to eat, talking about food choices and promote healthy eating; you will lead interesting and engaging lunchtime activities.

The Person:

The main duties of the post will include: -

  • Supervision of Nursery Children during lunchtime
  • Establish routines for children eating lunch and supervising engaging activities afterwards

We are looking for candidates who: -

  • Have experience of working in early years, school or youth setting
  • Have knowledge of a wide range of structured and informal children’s games and techniques
  • Are flexible and positive; having a ‘can do’ attitude

Candidates must have good presentation and communication skills (spoken and in writing) in order to work with staff, pupils and visitors. Experience of supervising pupils in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
