£35,000 Base (OTE £55,000) + Excellent Benefits & Perks
We are the fastest growing student review website in the UK. We are a hard working team of proactive self-starters based in the heart of Angel, London. We recently became part of a global digital agency with offices in Brighton, Portsmouth, USA and China, making it an exciting time to join us as we look to dominate the UK student market and expand internationally with the support of our parent company.
We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and sociable business development professional to sell to major brands, agencies and SMEs looking to market to students.
The new candidate will be expected to drive repeat sales from existing brand partners, whilst building new connections with further agencies and brands with an interest in the youth market.
Sales Manager Key Responsibilities:
+ Train and mentor grad bd person. Sales outreach strategy to align with 10 pillars. Put together lists of targets for Business Development person to get in touch with. Attending meetings booked by bd person.
+ Train and mentor junior team members
+ Execute sales outreach strategy to align with set business goals
+ Create target lists to alight with business pillars
+ Grow and develop new business with major brands, SMEs and agencies
+ Secure long-term, relevant brand partnerships for Student Hut
+ Visit clients regularly to build and develop powerful long-term relationships
+ Make daily outbound calls to existing and new brand partners
+ Maintain a strong pipeline of leads, and consistently hit transparent and fair targets
+ Keep all details up to date using our CRM system.
+ Seek out networking opportunities and spread the word about the brand
+ Work with campaign team to maximise results of each campaign. Analyse results to form future sales approach.
+ Management of pipeline, forecasting and invoices – Keeping track and reporting to management
Sales Manager Requirements:
+ Proven success in a media sales environment
+ Good knowledge of the media landscape, and a strong understanding of affiliate marketing
+ First-rate communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to sell to businesses and operate at decision-making levels.
+ Self-motivated with an excellent work ethic
+ Ability to think quickly and adapt to unforeseen challenges at a moment’s notice.
+ An outgoing personality and a great sense of humour
+ A genuine passion for new business development
+ Questioning and listening skills are vital
+ Tenacity, resilience, and an ability to think on your feet and build long-term relationships
+ Target driven and performance motivated
+ Love making calls, both to drive new sales and to nurture existing relationships
+ Existing relationships with youth brands and their agency partners
+ Experience working in the agency world
