Hygiene Supervisor (Plant Cleaning)
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
Pay Rate: £9.35 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Shift Pattern: Thursday - Sunday
Hours of Work: 06.00 – 14.00 hours (Thursday & Friday)
06.00 – 18.00 hours (Saturday & Sunday)
The Hygiene Plant Supervisor role is to co-ordinate and participate in the plant cleaning activities across the site of a major, renowned food manufacturer who produces a range of popular branded biscuits in Carlisle, Cumbria.
Our full scope of work on site includes productions areas and equipment (including end-of-run plant cleaning), floors and drains, hand-wash stations, high-levels, silo blocks, waste & perimeter areas, offices, amenities & facilities.
The Plant Cleaning Activities
Reporting to the Contract Manager you will head-up the end-of-run plant cleaning activities using our team of experienced and dedicated personnel. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all work is planned and completed to schedule, complies with hygiene, quality and safety requirements and is signed-off accordingly.
This includes further responsibility to:
* Communicate with key client personnel,
* Maintain and update documents and procedures,
* Ensure that correct equipment and materials are available,
* Ensure that waste material is correctly disposed of in accordance with the client's environmental systems,
* Report to the Client any issues that may impact upon the integrity of the clean,
* Ensure that the Hygiene Team are fully trained in relation to health & safety, hygiene and environmental issues.

Along with previous supervisory and cleaning experience you will also require:

* A flexible and adaptable approach to changing client requirements
* A sound ability in Microsoft Office, particularly Word & Excel
