Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a successful manufacturer who are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. This role would be on a temporary basis for 2-3 months with the potential to be extended, based in their office in Barnsley.

The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently under pressure using excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments with high attention to detail and experience working with a high volume of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email
- Setting up new accounts
- Allocating cash on to accounts
- Creating/running daily credit reports
- Journal analysis and reconciliation
- Resolving any queries with the customers
- Taking payments over the phone
- Setting credit limits
- Daily management of own accounts

Experienced required:

- At least 3 years' worth of experience working within a busy Credit Control position
- Confident liaising with individuals at all levels
- Comfortable working within in a team
- Experience working with high volume of accounts
- Educated to GCSE level including Maths & English
- Computer literate
