This is a great opportunity to work with the Global Head of Fleet and help set the transformational direction on how fleet will be managed. Currently, fleet management is not managed centrally and so has had very little control along with manual systems.

You'll be able to drive change, process and systems improvements across core markets in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East for a fleet of c9,000 owned and rented vehicles (trucks, cars, motorbikes, vans, generators, etc.)

Key responsibilities:

• Drive continuous improvement across Fleet management by collaborating with in-country and regional teams
• Influence regions and country programmes to optimise Fleet management and control procedures through the adoption of policies and processes
• Provide functional and technical support and guidance and training to the global Fleet community on how to deliver effective total cost of fleet procedures and assist in the development and implementation of fleet capability tools and policy documents
• Improve end-to-end lifecycle of the region's fleet by supporting specification definition through purchasing to delivery, maintenance, fuel management, replenishment, disposable and ensuring alignment with the policy
• Collate data and produce reports on mitigation to risk and hazards
• Support fleet disposal strategies as well as support of fleet management software solutions, when required
• Drive increased awareness of Fleet management principles and procedures and create a culture of continuous learning

Skills and experience required:
• Proven experience in Fleet Management and working in an international change culture, preferably in the Private Sector
• A solid understanding of the full spectrum of operational commerciality and all aspects of fleet total cost of ownership
• Previous experience in right-sizing fleet including disposals, acquisitions, consolidation and risk management
• Experience of fleet management systems and telematics systems is useful but not essential
• Used to implementing best practice process and systems and have an appetite to make change happen
• Confident communication style and comfortable to influence through a matrix management, especially able to 'sell' and influence concepts to different cultures
• Resilient, able to work with limited resources and in a culture of high expectation on delivery
• Graduate calibre
• Willingness to do up to 60% international (truly global) travel
