Job overview / purpose:

This is a great opportunity to earn money while you learn in a government-funded apprenticeship, which is suitable for a recent School or College leaver. The successful candidate will receive IT and application training, whilst working in a professional office.

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice to join our growing company.

We are looking for a hardworking, organised individual who is flexible and willing to learn.

A personal interest in IT/Technology along with the drive for self-improvement is critical in any candidate looking to apply for this role. You will be required to work full time with immediate start

Main responsibilities: [will include but not be limited do]

Provide 1st line technical support to telephone requests and emails from users. This will extend to application support to ensure our users are leveraging our cloud systems to their fullest potential To ensure calls for support are dealt with promptly and appropriately Maintaining existing Hardware and Software to agreed standards Key accountabilities will include maintenance and documentation of the registration system All maintenance, set up and configuration of the office printers and laptops Manage user requests for software downloads or installations Cleaning of old/slow computers

Desired qualification requirements:

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above.

Working week:

5 days per week,

Monday-Friday,

9am-5:30pm,

37.5 hours per week, [all details will be confirmed with the employer]

Salary:

£13,000 per annum

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
