This is an opportunity for an individual who is an aspiring SEN Teacher, Educational/Clinical Psychologist or someone who simply wants to give back!

Are you an individual looking to give back to your community and enrich the lives of pupils with Autism?

Have you had personal experience within your family of working with Autism and Autistic pupils?

Starting as an HLTA Autism, would you like to specialise in Autism and progress to obtaining your QTLS? Have you wanted to become a teacher but found the path blocked??

This HLTA Autism role is in Newham in a specialist school so being able to commute easily via public transport or drive, is key for your own work life balance, more than anything! There are 2 roles to start immediately and in September 2018!

I want to hear from sincere and passionate individuals, whether you're a graduate with experience, a mother, carer who has real, every day experience of Autism, I'd love to hear from you!

To be success for this HLTA Autism role it is essential to have the following:

**Sincerity and passion for the SEN sector, being patient and caring are incredibly important

**'C' grades in GSCE Maths and Science - so you feel confident with the levels of work.

**Music, Art and Drama whether it be a degree or otherwise, are always great subjects to have as passions and

**HLTA Autism for the academic year

**Personal experience - working with a family member or members is invaluable experience

**An understanding of Newham is an advantage but not a deal breaker

HLTA Autism role

-Working with Autistic pupils - Some 1: 1, raising attainment and behaviour. Pupils can either be a very high or low level, depending on who you are working with.

-Engaging the community and the parents/carers for the best results possible

-HLTA Autism role is idea if you are an aspiring SEN Teacher or Education/Clinical Psychologist

-Daily rate £70-£75

The School

The School in Newham has just over 100 autistic and SEMH pupils, fantastic opportunity to increase your knowledge and understanding of ASD/SEMH tendencies

-Offers a broad curriculum for SEN pupils in a caring and simulating, engaging environment.
