Senior Policy Planner
Osborne Richardson have an excellent role for a Senior Policy Officer to join a local authority based in the South East of England. This role sits within our clients Planning and Economic Growth division and will require you to assist our client review their Local Plan evidence and contribute to their Policy development. This will require you to provide interpretation of planning guidance and legislation and advise on planning policy issues. You will be responsible for advising and liaising with other areas of the Planning & Regeneration Team as well as developers, Members, the public and other teams across the council. The successful candidate for this role will need a well rounded knowledge of current UK planning legislation. Previous work experience within a local authority planning policy team is essential and an appropriate degree level qualification is required. This is a permanent position offering between £30,756 to £33,136 (dependent on experience, qualifications and current earnings) + £2,000 annual market rate supplement.
