Job overview / purpose:
The successful candidate will work in the Digital & Technology team for Global Workplace Solutions.
The GWS technology portfolio is an essential platform used to support the growth of the GWS business and enable CBRE’s clients to manage, optimize and grow their portfolios.
As a software development technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for learning to design, build, test and deploy software components for this critical global real-estate business-line.
This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing business and exciting technology rollout programme.
Main responsibilities: [will include but not be limited do]Learn to develop code for discrete software components, to be used in broader software solutions & services Implement user interfaces as appropriate to the corporate design standards Document and deploy components in-line with the roadmap Investigate new and innovative solutions as required. Understand and follow the corporate software development methodology (Agile SCRUM) Solve logical problems and business challenges Establish a good working knowledge of CBRE’s technology
Individuals with a strong passion for technology, coding, software design and/or innovative use of technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and internet of things will have an advantage.

Desired qualification requirements:
7 GCSE’s, grade A-C, including Maths and English language.
5 days per week,
35 hours per week, [all details will be confirmed with the employer]
£16,287 per annum

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
