Eden Scott's client, a leading financial services firm based in Glasgow, is consistently growing and due to this constant expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen with them looking to add a paraplanner to work in their busy office alongside their IFAs. Responsibilities Main responsibilities include providing support to IFAs using knowledge of all industry products. You will be able to maintain excellent working relationships with clients, while ensuring all compliance standards are met. Key responsibilities - Carrying out technical and product research Compiling suitability letters Preparing reports for advisors regarding all aspects of Financial Planning, including: Investment reviews, Portfolio Re-balancing, Pensions, Investments and Personal/Business Assurance Cover Investment valuations and spreadsheets Researching Investments for High Net Worth clients including Inheritance Tax Planning Requirements Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in a Paraplanning role or senior IFA sales support within an IFA environment. Must be in possession of a full FPC and already be at or working towards your diploma. In addition to the above you should possess the following: Ongoing knowledge of Compliance Procedures and FSA requirements Adaptable to the changing needs of the business and IFA daily requirements Proficient IT skills - Experience of Quay Software back office system would be advantageous Strong Word and Excel knowledge Benefits Attractive salary Benefits package Can work around flexible working requirements to the successful applicant An excellent opportunity for the right candidate, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
