You will join an already established team within a large scale support function whose main aim is to service existing clients whose policies are coming to a close, due to a number of different reasons. You will be expected to work quickly and accurately and have a strong customer service focus. You will find yourself immersed in your heavy, complex case load where accuracy and quality are of the utmost importance. Each team member will see a case through from initial query to pay out which can take over an hour to complete. With the department subject to 100% quality check, due to the sensitive nature of the claims, the preference would be that you would have proven QC experience in order for the more tenured team members to focus on processing the claims. Although this is not a Life and Pensions role, this background would work well with the processes and procedures expected within the department. Complex caseloads, accuracy, pay outs and dealing with sensitive situations will be the norm for instance. You will join the team at an extremely busy period so must be at a level where you could hit the ground running. Of course you will receive training on the procedures however; you will need a solid understanding of the claims (pension) process. We are preferably looking to engage with those looking for a contract role but will absolutely consider permanent applicants too.
