Job Title: Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Project Engineer Location: Aberdeen Salary: Up to £56,500 depending on skills and experience + excellent benefits + annual bonus Permanent Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available The Role As part of succession planning in the Programme Management team, an opportunity has arisen for an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (E, C&I) Project Engineer at Peterhead Power Station. You'll be undertaking all aspects of project management on low voltage electrical, and control and instrumentation projects from initial project brief through to project closure. Working in close alliance with the Asset Engineering team, you'll ensure that projects are scoped and executed in accordance with the project management process in place at Peterhead Power Station. Your Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who is educated to a minimum of HND level in an engineering discipline. Qualifications in electrical or control system engineering will be viewed favourably. Although industry experience in a similar role in power, process or a similar industry is preferred, candidates with limited industry experience are encouraged to apply. Experience with low voltage electrical engineering, management of equipment in explosive atmospheres, field instrumentation and PLC's will be viewed favourably. Experience in project management is desirable. Our Company Thermal is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all thermal power plants in GB and ROI including gas and oil-fired generation (CHP), coal-fired generation and gas-fired generation.
