Requirements Who You Are : You’re a Tech Savvy Bookkeeper / Administrator who brings a good understanding of cloud-based business software and ideally has experience of the e-commerce/ subscription based industry. Attributes you’ll bring - organised, detail orientated, enthusiastic, dedicated, patient and adaptable! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What You’ll Have : Minimum of 1-year experience with Xero Bookkeeping certification with a minimum of 1 years experience OR minimum of 3 years "on-the-job" experience Experience with the following software (or similar) or be able to demonstrate an understanding of how they work together: Xero ReceiptBank Infusionsoft Quaderno G-Suite for Business Slack Zoom Stripe & Paypal Sound understanding of bookkeeping principles Experience of VAT submission Additionally, a bonus to have: Xero Certified Advisor certification Understanding of Xero apps and integrations Payroll and pension submission experience Experience in e-commerce/ subscription industry and high volume transactions What You’ll Do : Bookkeeping Sales reconciliation Purchases processing (bill payments, supplier liaison, expense management) and reconciliation Reporting and financial analysis VAT submissions EU MOSS threshold monitoring and submissions Payroll Liaise with partners and suppliers Develop and drive improvements in financial processes Administration Writing, proofreading and uploading blog articles Liaising with consultants/contractors (designers, writers, event organisers) Assisting with the recruitment process General organisation (document storage, email etc) Starting Date : December 2018 Location : North Berwick Compensation : Competitive salary depending on experience Equal Opportunity Employer : OYNB is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
