Axios Systems develops, sells, implements and supports a high-value, top tier Enterprise Service Management solution to large blue-chip organizations and to the public sector worldwide. Based in headquarters, this role supports the COO to drive and build the Dev Ops, Internal IT, Projects team and Technical Services team to build and support Infrastructure for the business and for our global customers. Job purpose Design, manage and support the provision of Infrastructure service strategy for the business though our own environments and cloud-based SaaS services for our customers Job responsibilities Design review and maintain the architecture strategy in conjunction with the direction of the COO Ensure that infrastructure services for the company, as well as cloud-based SaaS services for our customers, are delivered cost effectively and efficiently Ensure they are in accordance with compliance required and best practice standards, and that a disaster recovery approach is in place Manage strategic technology partners both for SaaS and internal infrastructure, ensuring that their delivery and service levels match or exceed what we provide to our customers Manage, develop and support employees within the support structure, providing improvement in performance, development of talent and engagement Provide a 3rd level technical customer support function to assist with performance, database and system configuration issues Provide an internal IT service to ensure our business systems, hardware and services are supported and available globally Provide input and support for Pre-Sales activities such as Technical & security RFP completion, prospect meetings, attend user groups etc Lead the Axios team with the COO to develop plans addressing GDPR, compliance and security issues /incidents Essential Skills and Experience Expert knowledge of IT technologies and systems architecture Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and customer delivery in this environment Proven leadership capability in managing diverse teams Ability to research and implement technical solutions Experience of technical and statutory compliance requirements, especially around Information assurance ability to perform functional technical and development duties when required to ensure timely delivery of projects Experience with managing complex vendor relationships Work with other stakeholder departments as may be necessary to ensure timely delivery of projects IT Degree or equivalent experience/capability An element of global travel may be required, to support the other Axios offices across the world
