DESCRIPTION
Polecat are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our London team to focus on developing client marketing campaigns.

Client Programmes

Marketing lead for key accounts and customers with a focus on retention and up-sell strategy aligned to revenue outcomes
Client facing expert, a strategic thinker keen to develop holistic understanding of client needs and challenges to develop robust customer value propositions fit-for-purpose for different buyer groups and target personas
You will work closely with VP of Marketing, VP of Sales, UK Managing Director and the Customer Success/ Client Partner team focused on UK/European marketing programme nurturing relationships with clients and partners, to be an evangelist for wider communities and client networks.
Key Responsibilities

Client Marketing: Focused on key accounts, the marketing manager will create a marketing plan to retain business and create upsell opportunities using marketing initiatives that increase customer product adoption, usage, loyalty, advocacy.
Create an interlock between the voice of the customer, Product Mgt, Customer Success/ Client Partner, Sales and Marketing teams – facilitating understanding and communication between teams and creating a feedback loop to product management teams to optimise product, enhance features. Working centrally with Customer Success/ Client Partners to develop robust marketing materials and content to support account retention goals and provide wider sales enablement tools
Event strategy, community programme specialist– the marketing manager will focus on C-suite and senior decision maker target audiences, evangelising and nurturing relationships with clients, partners, industry relevant communities and client peer networks.
Story-telling and thought leadership activity: Drive powerful content working alongside Marketing teams to enhance story-telling through customer-lens on needs, challenges, solutions, opportunities utilising multi-channel marketing with video, digital, PR, event delivery.
Contribute to customer value proposition development through customer intelligence gathering and insights on usage, and translating learning to extend our offering to key buyer groups, generating add-value and account growth opportunities


REQUIREMENTS


5+ years experience in a marketing manager, partner marketing or channel marketing role
Broad, proven experience with a leadership role impacting account growth, nurturing relationships with key accounts
Working experience with events management, key sponsorships and proprietary events from end-to-end. Includes building event programme, strategy, speaker engagement and thought leadership programmes for B2B audiences
Working knowledge of new technologies and comfortable with working with innovation and in a start-up culture
Has strategic insight and hands-on attitude to conceive, build and implement in their role
Working experience in corporate communications or PR beneficial
People-focused, strong developer of client networks and a community builder
Attentive to detail, an integral team member and champion of greater business good
Creative and lateral thinker, keen to troubleshoot and problem-solve
Excellent written and oral communicator and listener
Results-oriented with clear goals and mindset for new challenges and adaptive environments
Team player with ability to work autonomously and continually pivot to collaborate with others
