*Role Summary*

We’re looking for an ambitious and self-disciplined Marketing Manager to join our fast growing team. This is a true full-stack marketing role. You will be working alongside our Content & Design Lead as part of a two-person marketing team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role presents an amazing opportunity to grow and manage our marketing function.

Our primary route to market is through accounting and bookkeeping firms. You will be responsible for maximising lead generation for our sales team. You will also be responsible for working with partner accounting and bookkeeping firms to market their Chaser offering to their clients; ensuring they make the most out of the block licences we sell to them.

We are growing at a fantastic rate. This is an incredible opportunity for someone talented and ambitious to make a huge impact. Our head office is located in Moorgate London. Half our team work remotely and we do offer remote working anywhere in the UK for the right candidate. Your responsibilities will include:

* *Understanding* | Building a deep understanding of accounting and bookkeeping firms. You will need to * develop a deep empathy that can enable us to market effectively to them
* *Partner marketing* | Working with accounting and bookkeeping partners to help them effectively communicate the benefits of Chaser to their clients. For example, helping them design email campaigns and advising them on how best to run events. Identifying collateral and resources we need to provide them and working with our Content & Design Lead to produce it
* *Events* | Leading our events strategy and organisation of our exhibiting at them
* *Webinars* | Creating and running webinars as part of accounting and bookkeeping firms’ buying processes
* *Channel development* | Identifying opportunities for us to generate new leads for our sales team and running experiments to prove them out as marketing channels
* *External listings* | Managing and enacting our third party sites strategy (e.g. accounting software marketplaces and other software recommendation platforms) and managing our listings on those platforms
* *Website* | Overseeing the company’s website and its efficacy in converting visitors to sign ups and working with our Content & Design Lead to improve it
* *Analytics* | Preparing, managing and reporting on our marketing funnel analytics. We currently use Google Analytics, Mixpanel and GoSquared. You will take the lead on identifying the optimal mix of tools we should be using
* *PPC* | Managing and enacting our PPC strategy and working with our Content & Design Lead to deliver effective ad campaigns
* *SEO* | Managing and enacting our SEO strategy and working with our Content & Design Lead to optimise our website content for SEO purposes
* *Awards & PR* | Managing and enacting our Awards and PR strategy. Co-ordinating the relevant applications and external consultants

*About You*

There are a number of attributes that will be critical to success in this specific role. You will:

* have very strong empathy. The ability to build a deep and effective understanding of accountants and bookkeepers will be critical to success in this role
* be positive with an ability to engender the necessary energy and excitement in partners and customers to market Chaser effectively to their clients
* have a strong analytical capacity to be able to step back and interpret what the data (both qualitative as well as quantitative) is telling us
* have very strong time management and prioritisation skills. There will be a huge number of balls to juggle in this role
* have strong commercial and business acumen with an instinct for opportunity

There are also a number of attributes that will be critical to your success more generally at Chaser as a fast growing startup. You will:

* be a proactive self-starter who is comfortable taking the initiative and solving problems autonomously
be extremely ambitious
* love learning (fast!). You will be comfortable (well, as comfortable as it’s possible to be!) learning through trial and error. And when those errors happen, as they inevitably will, be able to lean in to learn from them fully
* not need to be an amateur netless tightrope walker, but you will be comfortable with the need to take risks in the role
* have excellent written communication skills
* have excellent spoken communication skills, both in person and over the phone
* be someone who thrives working in a high speed environment
* be excited about working as part of a small, tight-knit team
