We want to power education for tens of millions of learners within a few years and we want to enable educators and administrators to access aggregated student data on a massive scale. To do so we need an exceptionally talented Head of Growth to drive our growth strategy forward.

As the Growth Manager at Zzish you will lead our growth activities working across departments including Product Management, Engineering and Sales. You will also have the opportunity to work very closely with our Founder and CEO, Charles Wiles defining the strategy and priorities. This role will play a huge part in the ongoing success of Zzish.

*You will…..*

* Define the company's growth plan
* Which growth initiatives should we focus on
* Quantify and understand the company's progress against its goals
* Put key performance indicators in place
* Ensure the right infrastructure is in place to support effective data-driven decision making across user data and user touch points
* Coordinate and execute growth plans using various approaches and methodologies
* Optimise the revenue funnel
* Provide customer insight by understanding user needs, habits and perceptions
* Prioritise growth initiatives and product changes
* Act as a linchpin between departments (sales, engineering and product management) to align the growth goals and execute effectively
* Drive content marketing, edit and write marketing collateral
* Be engaged in high-level, strategic thinking, as well as hands-on implementation
* Build a team to assist with different stages of the growth journey

*Skills and experience...*
* Prior growth experience within a high tech, early stage startup
* Previous experience within the US market place
* Commercial thinker with a dynamic knowledge of the growth journey
* Data oriented
* Interpreting user data
* Statistical reasoning
* Data analysis
* Strong understanding of the best tools for retrieving, manipulating and visualising data e.g. mySQL
* Fluent in and experienced in optimising acquisition channels:
Owned media: Twitter, Facebook,
Paid: Ads, Sponsorship,
Earned Media: SEO, PR, WoM
* Ability to recognise and optimise MQLs and SQLs
* Experience using and perhaps implementing a marketing automation tool
* Creative flair, a curious and experimental mind and a strategic thinker
* Project management and leadership qualities
* Highly adaptable to change
