*Senior Software Engineer / Technical + Team Lead*
Generalist with can-do attitude required to join an exciting early stage startup building wearable technology to disrupt the events space.

We’re looking for a UK-based very hands-on Senior Software Engineer / Technical + Team Lead to join and help manage our 100% remote team and evolve our product.

*Role Requirements*
Good fundamental Computer Science knowledge (graph theory, matrix operations, etc)
Comfortable wearing Research, Development, and Operations hats in parallel
Architecting and building modern scalable mobile, front and back end environments
Familiarity with operational concerns (engineering-for-failure, scalability, performance)
Building systems in a mix of languages
Operating almost 100% remotely
Working with a 100% remote team across a variety of cultures and timezones
Excellent written and oral skills in both technical and colloquial English

*Desired Technical Skills*
Experience of using Bluetooth / BLE networking technologies (e.g. iBeacon, Eddystone, etc)
Experience using hosted systems like AWS and Heroku
Good Python ability (e.g. Jupyter, Numpy, Pandas) for basic matrix operations and data analysis
Good understanding of data analytics, methods, and tooling for real-time report generation
Good Node.js ability (e.g. building APIs)
Document oriented databases (ideally Mongo)
Understanding how to package an embedded mobile SDK and the support ecosystem that goes with it

*Optional Technical Skills*
Good understanding of mobile application development & deployment systems
Real-world understanding of modern message passing architectures and brokers (AMQP)
Orchestration & deployment of production / development environments to multiple cloud platforms
Cybersecurity, privacy and compliance, and infrastructure resiliency

Experience with Machine Learning techniques
Knowledge of Graph Database technologies
Experience successfully working with remote teams
