We are now the biggest boxed mattress company in both countries. This year we’re embarking on an exciting journey of growth and international expansion of our successful model. We are now looking for a Data Analyst, with a solid data background, to join the growing Product Team in our London Office, based in Victoria.

*About the Role*

As a Data Analyst in the Technology Team, you will have an opportunity to impact all elements of the business – Customer Experience, Digital Product, Product Development, Marketing, Finance and Operations. There will be a specific focus in this role of looking at our Marketing data and providing our Marketing team with insights, dashboards and proactive analysis.

You’re more proactive than reactive. Your role be varied and you will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. There will be no typical day in this role, but you will be driven to combine small ad-hoc tasks with big-ticket interesting tasks without favouring one over the other. You will be comfortable working an environment in which the context changes frequently, so being self-organised is a must.

You will be working on a data pipeline that utilises some of the industry’s most state of the art tools. We’ll help you improve your data analysis skills and provide you with industry best practices and guidance.

*About you*


- At least 18 months experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.

- A passion for data and using data to solve business problems.

- Expert Excel User: able to understand and build complex spreadsheets.

- Good knowledge of SQL: comfortable writing complexed queries in an efficient way and combining varied datasets into singular tables.

- Experience with working with a Business Intelligence tool, such as Looker, Tableau or Mode.

- Some knowledge of how modern data pipelines are constructed and how that fits together with database management.

- A quick learner who can dive into new tools and be comfortable working with them in next to no time.

- Demonstrable ability to solve problems and translate stakeholders needs into business insights.

- A confident communicator who can succinctly explain technical problems to a non-technical audience.

- You are happy to combine ad-hoc small tasks with big overarching quarterly tasks.

- You are comfortable working in a large team with varying skillsets and different types of personalities.

_Nice to have (but not required)_

- Previous experience of working with a Redshift database.

- Previous experience of working with Snowplow.

- Previous experience of working in Git and comfortable working in the command line.

- Experience of working with tools like Sinter, DBT, Stitch and Postico.

- Working knowledge of a scripting language such as Python or R
