YardLynk is an online booking platform that enables trade customers to find the best quality plant and tool equipment. Whether they need a hand drill or a 25-ton excavator we can help.

Our proprietary software has been built from the ground up after extensive user research with both hire companies and regular hire customers. The result has been a seamless experience that allows customers to book with confidence, while also reducing admin for the suppliers.

We started in July 2017, we’re currently a small team (6) with big ambitions so everyone is required to punch above their weight. Our head office is in London (Moorgate).

We are funded by a supportive group of investors some of which are also within the hire industry. Our investors see the massive opportunity to disrupt an antiquated industry.

This role is perfect for an experienced and organised biddable media specialist that is looking to take control of these channels and make a tangible difference to the bottom line. You will be comfortable in an early startup environment working with all aspects of the team to continually improve the service. You will work with the Head of Marketing and Founder to ensure strong ROI and CAC for paid channels.

What you will do in the role

Joining the Sales & Marketing Team, your role will involve increasing the number of leads and ultimately the bottom line revenue.

You will monitor incoming leads and adjust campaigns accordingly with the goal of converting them into paying customers.

You will work closely with all members of the team to gain insight on how to optimise paid channels.

Your main role will include:

Full ownership and management of paid search and other biddable channels

You’ll be measured on the following:

Leads - can you increase the number of leads?
Conversions - how many of your leads are converting into paying customers?
The volume of your output – can you get stuff done often to a tight deadline?
Your proactivity – can you get stuck in without much direction or management?
What you need to be great at

Obsessed with making an impact on the bottom line revenue.
Strong attention to detail; logical, systematic, relentless focus on KPIs namely leads, CAC and LTV.
Highly organised, ability to multi-task; can correctly prioritise multiple issues, opportunities before they pass.
Problem-solving aptitude; able to conduct research to define problems and prepare responses to anticipated questions and queries, make logical conclusions, anticipate obstacles, and consider different approaches to the decision-making process
Startup DNA; Resilient, gets things done, 80/20, carpe diem, adaptable to change, huge capacity for hard work in a relentlessly fast-paced environment
Who we are looking for; track record must haves

At least 2 years in managing paid search campaigns - in-house or agency
Advanced skills in Google Analytics/ AdWords/ Search Console/ Tag Manager
Medium level skills: Mixpanel / Unbounce/ Data Studio/
Bright, motivated, energetic, independent, organized, creative, resilient, accurate, ethical
Must be adaptable to change and the fast pace of a dynamic high growth startup.
Good sense of humour

Nice to have

Agency experience
Startup experience.
Have a been part of a growth incubator
Plant and Tool hire experience. You’ve worked at a tool hire company and know an acrow prop from a wacker plate.
