GoneRemote, an exciting Travel/HR startup, is looking for a passionate, experienced and determined Web Developer (Full Stack). If the successful applicant excels in this role, they may have the opportunity to become CTO in the future.

An MVP website has been made for testing. Now that testing has completed, the next project is to build and oversee a new interactive e-commerce website/platform.

GoneRemote is a Remote Work and Travel Program company, allowing professionals to live in, and experience different locations each month with a group of other like-minded professionals whilst continuing with their full-time job.

Job Responsibilities:
- Creating and designing a new e-commerce website including implementation of a brand house style throughout
- Planning and prototyping future applications to support new business objectives
- Deciding on the best technologies and languages for the projects you work
- Continually optimizing performance and cost of live solutions and eradicating any bugs that may occur
- Building and testing Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange data and enable integration of our platform with third parties
-Building and maintaining databases that support front-end services

Job Requirements:
– Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, UX, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and W3C standards.
– Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
– Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and front-end programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as server-side frameworks for building API’s, such as NodeJS or ASP.NET.
– The flexibility and ability to work abroad for long periods of time
– Candidate must possess an ambitious, determined and ‘go-getter’ attitude, proving you can work both autonomously and as a team
-Experience working in a startup is beneficial
– BSc/BA educated

As of the nature of the company, the ideal candidate will need to have the freedom to work and live in different locations around the world at some point. The ideal candidate does not need to live in London at the time being, however, it would be a huge benefit. The job role is part-time to start with, with no salary but will you will be offered equity. This can be discussed in greater detail if successful in the interview.
